FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

NATURE friendly, playful for children

Communication strategy

In ENKI we have always been committed to nature, which we admire, respect and accept with the greatest gratitude.

In order to preserve clean nature, we created several different projects, which we dedicated either to children as ambassadors of new habits or to the general public, who have a desire for greater awareness.

We recognized the opportunity to educate nature ambassadors to responsible behavior, which is why we addressed the youngest people in the wider area of Slovenia with various companies. We created various mascots around which an integrated strategy of environmental appeal was formed.

The stories of Cevko, Grini, Kapko, Medot and others achieved exceptional results. The involvement of educational institutions, the commitment of young people, the acceptance of adults and the engagement of companies that support projects make us happy and reassure us in terms of the will to preserve a clean environment.

Strategies of addressing children

We achieved exceptional results through interactive games that taught about individual topics. We have always been aware that imparting knowledge to children through instructions is not the best way, so we always invented new ways through which children could play and at the same time receive valuable knowledge.

We realized that children are great ambassadors who live their values. The knowledge and skills were passed on to adults, and thus the basic intention to protect the environment became a reality.

The results were exceptional, if we only mention through 80% the involvement of schools, several hundred children's physical products per campaign, the average viewing time on the website for more than 6 minutes, thousands of playing educational games, through 10 international awards and numerous awards for the best child-friendly projects in Slovenia.

Primavoda

We developed the PRIMAVODA brand to educate Ljubljana residents about the importance of protecting water resources. We created an educational platform that explains the role of water in our lives and the distribution system managed by JP VO-KA Snaga, while encouraging people to protect water resources actively.

Through activities in many areas, we reached our target audiences and brought them to Primavoda.si. There, VOKApedia provided them with useful information, while applications for checking water consumption, finding drinking fountains by mobile phone, monitoring water levels, finding virtual water, and more raised awareness of the importance of clean drinking water.

The platform won two Netko awards in its original form in 2012. After its redesign, it won a Gold Diggit award for Best Public Administration Web Project in 2016, a PoMP award for Best Public Sector, Association and Nonprofit Medium in 2016, and 3rd place for Socially Responsible Projects at WEBSi Web Champions 2016. Internationally, it received an Honorable Mention on Awwwards and Special Kudos at the CSS Design Awards.

eSvet

With the eSvet project, we tried to bring the issues and challenges of the energy future of Slovenia, the EU and the world closer to the information and communication needs of the target groups, which until the publication of the portal in the Slovenian language did not have a user-friendly, information-rich, professionally credible and technologically advanced website about energy/energetics available, especially not about nuclear energy.

In order to attract target groups and conjure up an inviting user experience for them, even if the topic is not of primary interest, we designed the website as a combination of video, animated, image and content components. We guide the visitor through the worlds of energy, where otherwise professional topics are presented in user-friendly and comprehensible language and, whenever possible, enriched with interactions.

We also created an interactive application, which puts the visitor in the role of a power plant operator, which produces electricity from various energy sources. Through a simulation in which the user must meet the daily needs for electricity (we use real data on demand for electricity, operation of power plants, CO2 emissions, prices, etc. in Slovenia), we raise awareness in a practical and attractive way of how individual decisions affect the reliability and costs of electricity supply and the CO2 emissions that arise from it production.

The website unobtrusively in the background promotes the movement for the energy future, with which we unite and educate interested publics who are interested in the topic and will be influential opinion leaders in the long run.

Let's
create
something great together.
